Our Winners Stories

 

Thank a Carer was started to raise awareness of the hard work carers in our society do every day, often alongside jobs and other family responsibilities.

With recent research suggesting that an overwhelming majority of carers feel isolated and lacking in support in the role they do, the Thank a Carer initiative aims to help change how carers are supported and perceived in our society and provide an opportunity for recognition of the hard work they do along the way.

Our weekly giveaways provide carer’s friends, family and colleagues the opportunity to #ThankaCarer and show their appreciation – and we love seeing the wonderful, thoughtful stories we receive on a daily basis.

With every nomination of a carer for our prizes, a heartfelt thanks to the carer in that person’s life comes with it – take a look at the inspiring stories our winners have.
